LO SF Bay Area | Round Valley Hike

Round Valley Regional Preserve sits at the foothills of Mount Diablo, tucked away east of Contra Costa County. This hidden gem offers beautiful views, excellent trails, and great spots to watch wildlife. Latino Outdoors will be hosting a moderate 4.5-mile hike at this location. Participants will have the chance to explore and admire the area's fantastic woodlands and streams. The trail will most likely be muddy and uneven, with uphills and downhills throughout the whole hike.

Time: 10 am

Location and parking: 19450 Marsh Creek Road, Brentwood, CA. Parking is FREE!!! We will meet by the trailhead. (Look for the LO flag by the trailhead)

Trail name: Miwok and Hardy Canyon Loop.

Amenities: Bathrooms and picnic tables.

Gear: Pants, long-sleeve shirt, closed-toe shoes or hiking boots (anything you don't mind getting muddy in), a sweater, a jacket, a beanie or hat, and sunglasses. Binoculars and trekking poles are optional.

Latino Outdoors will provide snacks, but please bring enough water for yourself.
